I found the review of Fogo Island United Church, Newfoundland, Canada, to be overly critical. In particular, the reviewer was critical (if not mean spirited) of the minister not knowing the parishioners.

A quick Internet search revealed that the minister is retired. Was this minister simply filling in? How many Sundays had he been at this church? Was this investigated by the Mystery Worshipper?

I am grateful for your comments concerning the Revd Lawrence Watkins' status at Fogo Island United Church.

I was under the impression he was the incumbent, as there was nothing said during the service or anything written on the order of service to indicate otherwise.
