I have attended St Saviour's in the Marshes every Monday evening for the past six weeks. The Rev Smallbone does not deserve the report Nick O'Demus gave.
He is an heroic figure struggling against enormous odds, not least an evil archdeacon who turns up every week to undermine him. The congregation, which is largely supportive, shows him great affection, especially Adoha.
So lay off the Rev, or Colin will be round...
