1. In His steps
"And did those feet in ancient time walk upon England's mountains green?" Yes. Well, Bishop Tom of Tooting's anyway – although a little unsteadily, no doubt. In December 2006, after "a glass or two" of Portuguese wine at a Christmas reception, the good bishop embraced the night air. The rest is the subject of much ecclesiastical dining out. But it is at these hallowed steps, leading out of the Irish Embassy, that our veneration begins.
