The processional hymn was, "You Servants of God" (tune Laudate Dominum) and then the opening sentence was, "In the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord."
Also, being a complete eucharistic liturgy, the service wasn't so much "stiff upper-lip" as liturgically full and grand, as should be the case for such an occasion.
