THE WATCHING WALL Our first sight of the "security fence" was shocking. This huge, aggressive, violent looking wall is 26 feet high, often with barbed and electrical wire on top. It’s twice as high as the Berlin Wall and three times as long. Watchtowers along the wall with blackened window slits are very threatening and give you an eerie feeling of being watched and targeted.
